    Cadillac DeVille / Calais (and Series 62) Option Codes, 1960–1982

    This document carries the full line-wide year tables for standard-body Cadillacs. Through 1964 the entry series was the Series 62; from 1965 it became the Calais, with DeVille above it. Nearly all options below were also offered on Fleetwood and (through 1966) Eldorado — see fleetwood.md, eldorado.md, and seville.md for model-specific codes.

    Code schemes. 1960–1968: accessory order codes only (letters/digits; only "body" options appear on the cowl plate). 1969–1979: order code plus corporate RPO production code (RPO column below); the RPO is the stable identifier — order letters were reshuffled nearly every year, and for 1969–70 the letter assignments even differ between sources. 1980–1982: RPO only; coverage gap (see final section).
