    GM Heritage Archive relocated: gmheritagecenter.com now 301-redirects to https://www.gm.com/heritage/archive/vehicle-information-kits (906 PDF kits, count snapshotted 2026-07-12). Kit PDFs live under gm.com/content/dam/company/no_search/heritage-archive-docs/vehicle-information-kits/<brand>/. All kits are image scans with no text layer — an OCR pass is the single highest-value follow-up for this compilation.

    Refuted — treat with suspicion

    1. CorvSport "complete per-year Corvette RPO coverage" — refuted 0–3. Our Corvette docs are anchored on Corvette Action Center with CorvSport as one of five cross-check families, so they stand; but CorvSport alone must not be treated as a complete per-year source.
    2. PHS "fully covers 1960–1982" — refuted. PHS is 1961–1986; 1960 Pontiacs have no PHS path, and some microfilm copies are partially illegible. Pontiac doc gap notes updated accordingly.
    3. roadkillcustoms.com as GMMA-provenance kit index — refuted. Its links are an unofficial index; provenance claims don't hold.
    4. "All kit links hosted on gmheritagecenter.com" — refuted. The archive moved to gm.com (see above); old URLs redirect.

    Caveats for maintainers

    • Pricing conventions differ across sources (CRG lists List$ vs List$+D&H) — when adding prices, state which convention the row uses.
    • chevellestuff.net rows mix in Monte Carlo/El Camino-shared options and internal accounting codes; Chevelle rows should be scoped per-row.
    • Split-vote (2–1) items carried with footnotes: 1967 Z28 production accounting; L30's non-exclusivity to the Chevelle.

    • Check Wayback Machine captures of pre-redesign gmheritagecenter.com for Pontiac/Buick/GMC kits dropped from the current gm.com index.
    • Alfred P. Sloan Museum / Buick Club of America — do they publish per-year option lists? (No compiled Buick RPO source verified online.)
    • NCRS specification guides as the per-year Corvette source to replace CorvSport's refuted completeness claim.
    • A compiled year-by-year Pontiac UPC list (PHS publications, club archives) to substitute for PHS's per-vehicle-only service.
    • OCR the GM Heritage kit scans (Chevrolet 691, Cadillac 96, Olds 4, trucks 69) — unlocks factory-verified per-year tables for most of the thin spots recorded in the division docs.

    Modern era (1983–2027) — S2, 2026-10-01

    Adversarial verification of the modern sources: 72 claims, three independent votes each; two refutes kill a claim (tools/verify/tally.mjs; votes with evidence in docs/rpo/s2-votes.jsonl; table in docs/rpo/S2-RESULTS.md; claims in docs/rpo/S2-CLAIMS.md). 52 confirmed (50 unanimous), 19 refuted, 1 split. A 10-claim pilot ran first; the claims it exposed as unanswerable were re-targeted, and WB-2 was restated and re-voted after its refutation led to a fix in the capture tool. Every superseded vote is kept, unedited, in docs/rpo/s2-votes-superseded.jsonl.

    Refuted — treat with suspicion

    1. HK-2 (1–2): the evidence map lists every year's kit. 21 of 68 Chevrolet HK docs had years with no kit in the map, and the map names no exceptions. In 4 docs the kit existed but was missed (Chevy Van kits filed as "Vandura", the 1996 and 1999 G-Van kits that describe the Express, the 2003–2007 HD kits, the 1984–1985 Caprice kits that carry the Impala). They are now mapped; 18 docs keep 19 years with no kit at all. (Correction, owner 2026-10-03, D pilot gate decision 9b: the 1999 Truck kit first mapped here to the GMT800 Silverado is the 1999 GMT400 C/K book; only ck-gmt400 lists it.)
    2. HK-4 (0–3, pilot): no page the classifier marks as GM is from a third-party book. The Corvette Black Book's year spread was marked GM. Fixed in tools/ocr/kit-pages.mjs (19 pages reclassified); HK-5 then confirmed 3–0.
    3. UP-2 (0–3): Upfitter RPO lists start in model year 2014. The "Light Duty Prior To 2013" page links the 2008, 2009 and 2010 G/H full-size van electrical manuals, and each has an "RPO CODE LIST". They were outside S1's crawl; they were captured at G2-e (2026-10-02, RPO Code List pp.15-20, 13-18 and 13-18). The 63 lists captured and the 46 manuals without one were confirmed.
    4. AR-GMODC-3 (0–3): codes found only in the GMODC guide are export options. All three voters confirmed the first half (codes in both mean the same). The second half fails: ordinary options such as N40 power steering, B58 fog lamps, UA1 heavy-duty battery and Z82 trailering are in GMODC but not in the two Heritage kits checked, because the kits are incomplete. The guide keeps T1 for code meanings (approved at G2-a); its US availability was never claimed.
    5. NICB-1 (1–2): NICB names no RPO codes. The 2025 and 2026 editions start each engine row with its RPO code (LGX, L87, L84, LT4, L5P …) and name drive-unit codes (X0E + EC6). docs/reference/README.md is corrected. NICB stays T4: it can corroborate an engine code's description, never establish a code.
    6. CHK-1967-CORVETTE-1, CHK-1968-CORVETTE-1 (0–3 each): the blank cited pages are GM pages the classic OCR missed. 1967 p.57 and 1968 p.137 are blank in the gm.com PDFs themselves; 48 classic rows cite them.
    7. CHK-1968-, 1972-, 1975-, 1978-, 1981-CAMARO-1 (0–3 each): the cited pages are GM-authored. They are Camaro White Book pages (Michael Bruce Associates; "FACTS cont…", QTY/RETAIL columns, "Chevrolet records also indicate…"); 29 classic rows cite them.
    8. CHK-CORVETTE-YEARPAGES-1 (0–3): the Corvette year pages are GM-authored. They are Corvette Black Book year spreads; 231 classic rows cite them. Proposals for all 308 citations: docs/rpo/CLASSIC-HK-PROPOSALS.md.
    9. ENT-DECODERPO-1 (0–3): decoderpo.com says its data comes from GM records. No page states a source; its order-guide pages look GM-derived, but that is our inference. T3 (its 2025 Silverado codes matched GM's guide: ENT-DECODERPO-2).
    10. ENT-GMTNATION-1 (0–3): the gmtnation compendium says it is compiled from GM sources. The author built it from window stickers and forum VIN decodes. T3.
    11. ENT-CAC-1 (0–3): Corvette Action Center says its production pages come from GM records. Its only source statement covers the Knowledge Base (service bulletins); the production and option pages name no source, and the footer disclaims GM affiliation. T3 for the modern era, approved at G2-a (accuracy confirmed for 1995: ENT-CAC-2). The classic tier of CAC is not changed here (G2).
    12. ENT-NCRS-1 (0–2–1): NCRS publishes Corvette option data for every year from 1984. The Technical Information Manual & Judging Guides stop at 2010 and are paid print only. Not an online source; not held.
    13. ENT-7387-1 (0–3): 73-87.com says it is compiled from GM order guides or data books. It names no source ("to the best of my knowledge") and takes codes from readers. T3.
    14. ENT-GMT400-1 (0–3): gmt400.com's list says it is compiled from GM sources. It is one member's saved list, with descriptions from web searches. T3.

    Split votes (carried with footnotes)

    • ENT-TURBOREGAL-1 (1–0–2): buickturboregal.com's additional-codes page says its codes are "not listed in the dealer order guides"; the main page names no source. The site stays T3: a split never raises a tier. Its additional-codes page may be cited for codes no other source has, as single-source, with a footnote quoting that statement (G2-c). Its accuracy claim (ENT-TURBOREGAL-2) was confirmed.

    Tier map by division and era

    Each cell names sources, by the confirmations above. gm.saturn.team, the Saturn Archive and the 2008–2010 van manuals were captured at G2-d/G2-e (2026-10-02); the counts are lists per division and era. Every cell's T3 also has the generic Halderman and rparts lists (confirmed accurate on GM-wide codes); RPOcodes.com and Astro-Safari-Info are never cited for availability. NICB is T4 throughout. A blank T1 cell means no GM document is known for that division and era. Within a band, some Chevrolet years still have no kit (refuted 1); GM Authority's coverage was checked only for its order-guide-era articles, so it is not listed before 2008. GM Authority is T2 only for an article that credits GM for its codes; an article that names no source is T3 (G2-a).

    Classic [HK] page audit (G1 decision D2)

    node tools/audit/hk-pages.mjs --era classic (docs/rpo/S2-HK-SUSPECTS.md): of 2,527 classic [HK] page citations, 308 cite a page the classifier marks as third-party or empty (260 third-party-marked, 37 inside a third-party range, 11 empty). All 8 claims about them were refuted 0–3 (refuted 6–8). docs/rpo/CLASSIC-HK-PROPOSALS.md proposes one fix per citation: 229 re-point to a GM page of the same kit that shows the code (216 read as matching, 13 unclear), 1 drop citation (the row keeps another GM citation) and 78 downgrade factory-verified → confirmed. 203 of the re-points carry prices or production counts that the GM page does not show. Production counts come from the third-party books. Because an [HK] tag vouches for the whole note, those rows need the citation for the code moved and the figures either kept, attributed to the book outside the [HK] claim, or dropped. Applied at G2 (2026-10-01, G2-b) through docs/rpo/CLASSIC-HK-EDITS.tsv (tools/audit/hk-apply.mjs). The 13 unclear re-points and every figure the OCR could not place on the book page were first checked on the page images (docs/rpo/CLASSIC-HK-IMAGE-CHECKS.tsv). The result: 226 re-points (4 to a better GM page than proposed), 2 drops and 80 downgrades. Figures are credited to the Black Book in the notes. Six disputes the kit pass had settled on Black Book pages are disputed again; 1975 J50 is settled at GM's $55.00. The audit now finds 0 suspect citations among 2,445 (W1 kit-page rebuild, 2026-10: the new dimension-sheet check finds 2 classic citations on SAE dimension pages — impala-fullsize L34, 1963 Chevrolet p.122; monte-carlo L48/LM1, 1977 Monte Carlo p.59. They wait for the owner; classic docs are frozen.). The 1968 Corvette kit's sideways Black Book spread (p.136) is classified as a GM page by KIT-PAGES.tsv; nothing cites it.
