Same coverage gap as the rest of the line (see division README). Verifiable: engines L61 (1980), L62/V8-6-4 (std 1981, and the only engine retained by the 1981–84 Fleetwood Limousine), LF9 diesel option, LC4 V6 credit option 1981–82, HT4100 LT8 std 1982 (except limousine). Brougham d'Elegance continued as a package; 1980–82 package RPOs unverified in accessible sources.
Commercial chassis
Cadillac catalogued a commercial chassis (Series 6890/Z90-style designations; 156"+ wheelbase) alongside the Series 75 for professional-car builders — Superior, Miller-Meteor, S&S/Hess & Eisenhardt, Eureka — for hearses, flower cars, and ambulances. Honest limits of the record:
- The commercial chassis was delivered as an incomplete vehicle (front clip, frame, driveline, cowl); body, interior, and most "options" were the coachbuilder's work, so factory accessory/RPO documentation is essentially absent from enthusiast sources.
- Line-wide mechanical options (air conditioning, controlled differential, HD cooling, higher-output generators) could be ordered on the chassis; period order codes match the line-wide tables in deville-calais.md but no chassis-specific code list was found to verify. Treat any commercial-chassis code claim as unverified.
- The Cadillac Database (Yann Saunders) professional-car sections and the Professional Car Society are the best leads for body-builder option documentation.
