Pontiac Firebird / Trans Am — Option Codes
1967–68 options were ordered with Pontiac 3-digit sales codes
(1967 cowl tags at some Fisher plants also carry "five-group" accessory
codes like 3F = 400). From 1969 the sales manual switched to
corporate UPC/RPO codes (L74, WS4…), with numeric sales codes
persisting on invoices (e.g. SD-455 = UPC LS2, sales code 35X; billing
history "group 34" = engine options, e.g. 347 = Ram Air, 341 = Sprint).

Third generation launched — all-new option structure (2.5L LQ9 Iron Duke, 2.8L V6, 5.0L LG4, Crossfire LU5 on Trans Am). Coverage gap: 1982 codes were not verified against two sources in this compilation; see the F-body third-generation references before relying on them.
