Oldsmobile Starfire & Omega — Option Codes
Two unrelated nameplates share this document:
- Starfire — full-size personal luxury (1961–1966), then the H-body subcompact hatchback (1975–1980).
- Omega — compact: X-body Nova-based (1973–1979), FWD X-body (1980–1984; covered here through 1982).
Confidence: confirmed (2+ independent sources), single-source,
disputed.
Years 1961–1966 — full-size Starfire
The Starfire was a heavily-equipped model, not an option package, and this era predates Oldsmobile's published corporate-style code lists (divisional option numbering; the 1965 CSM has no option list). Standard equipment, 1961: leather bucket seats, console with tachometer and floor shifter, power steering/brakes/windows/driver's seat.

Coverage gap: H-body Starfire and X-body Omega appearance-package RPOs (SX, GT/Y-64 aside, Firenza, Sport Omega) are barely documented online; dealer order guides (GM Heritage Center) are the follow-up source. The enthusiast CSM compilations end at 1972/1976 and skew A-body/full-size.
