Oldsmobile Silhouette — U-body (first generation) (1990–1996)
Wikipedia describes the first-generation Oldsmobile Silhouette as a minivan built at North Tarrytown, New York, from August 1, 1989 to June 26, 1996 for model years 1990–1996, with the 3.1L LG6 V6 for 1990–1995, the 3800 3.8L V6 (L27) as an option for 1992–1995 and the 3.4L LA1 V6 as the only engine for 1996; it names the transmissions by type (a 3 speed 3T40 and a 4 speed 4T60-E automatic) but prints no transmission code. The NICB VIN manuals of these years list Multi Purpose Vehicle lines for Chevrolet, GMC and Pontiac but none for Oldsmobile, and no Oldsmobile order guide, RPO list or Heritage kit for this van is in the archive. The remaining codes therefore come from the Chevrolet Lumina APV kits, the Silhouette's U-body twin, and only the weight pages listed for this doc (1992–1995), cited for engine, transmission and chassis codes the two vans share. The 1990, 1991 and 1996 kit pages listed for this doc print none of these codes. Every option, package, paint and trim code is a gap in the sources, not a finding that it was not offered.

Wikipedia's Silhouette article gives LG6 in the first-generation infobox and lists the 3.1 LG6 V6 for 1990–1995, which dates 1990 and 1991 (no listed kit page prints LG6 for those years); 1992–1995 from the single-condition remarks "W/3.1L Engine, LG6" on the engine block heater lines of the optional-equipment weight pages (1993 and 1994 on p.40, 1992 on p.42, 1995 on p.77); the Chevrolet Lumina APV doc adds electronic fuel injection from a powertrain page not cited here; shared U-body code; cited from the Chevrolet Lumina APV kit ⛭ GM Heritage — 1992 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.42 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1993 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.40 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1994 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.40 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1995 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.77 |

requires M13; optional (Wikipedia: optional from 1992, replaced for 1996); Wikipedia's Silhouette infobox gives L27 for the generation; the weight pages print the engine's own line (1992 p.42, 1994 p.40, 1995 p.79; the 1993 p.40 line prints it as 127) and the remarks "W/3800 Engine, L27" on the block heater lines; 1995: not on the cargo van, as the kit marks it; shared U-body code; cited from the Chevrolet Lumina APV kit ⛭ GM Heritage — 1992 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.42 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1993 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.40 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1994 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.40 ⛭ GM Heritage — 1995 Chevrolet LuminaAPV, p.79 |

the only engine for 1996 per Wikipedia's Silhouette article (first-generation infobox and 1996 section), which is the only source cited; no listed kit page for 1996 prints the code, so the row is single-source; the Chevrolet Lumina APV doc gives sequential fuel injection from a 1996 power teams page not cited here; shared U-body code |
