    Oldsmobile Eighty Eight (LSS) — H-body (tenth generation) (1992–1999)

    The Eighty Eight was Oldsmobile's full-size H-body sedan, redesigned for 1992 and discontinued after 1999 (Wikipedia). The NICB VIN manuals print it as the Delta 88 Royale, Royale Brougham and Royale LS in 1992 to 1996, then as the 88 Royale, 88 / 88 LS, 88 Royale LS and LSS to 1999. Every code here comes from GM's RPO code lists for 1998 and 1999; no GM list for 1992 to 1997 is in the archive, so those years have no codes. The 1998 list is word for word the 1998 LSS list, and the 1998 and 1999 lists are word for word the Buick LeSabre's and the Pontiac Bonneville's of the same year: a code here may be equipment of one of those cars.
