    Cadillac SRX — Theta Premium / GMT166 (second generation) (2010–2016)

    The second-generation Cadillac SRX appears in the NICB VIN manuals for every model year from 2010 through 2016 (front-wheel and all-wheel drive; Base, Luxury, Performance, Premium and turbo lines in 2010 to 2013, Standard, Luxury Collection, Performance Collection and Premium Collection from 2014 on). The archive holds no factory document for these years, so only 2016 is covered by a GM list: GM's 2016 SRX order guide, read as GM Authority's copy, which gives the 3.6L LFX engine with the 6T70 gearbox coded M7W (FWD) or M7U (AWD). The 2010 to 2015 engine codes (LF1, LAU, LFX) rest on Wikipedia, with GM Authority and the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain guides as corroboration of the codes; the Equinox and Terrain share the platform.

    Gaps: no order guide, option list or option-page source for 2010 to 2015 prints any SRX option code beyond the engines; the Cadillac fleet order guide captures in the archive do not include the SRX; the 2014 GM car and truck guide in the archive shows the SRX with a 3.6L V6 and models 6NG26 and 6NL26 but prints no RPO codes. Many 2016 codes will have been offered in earlier years; none is claimed for them. Where the 2016 guide's text drops the trim mark of a row (the included-in-group symbol prints as nothing), the Notes name only the trims whose marks are readable.
