The NICB VIN manuals list the Allante (series code VR) in the 1987 table as a 2 door coupe and in the 1993 tables as a convertible, with a hardtop version in one of them. No GM RPO code list, order guide or Heritage kit for the Allante is in the archive (gm.saturn.team has Allante year pages for 1990 to 1993 but they carry no RPO Code List), so every row below rests on the Wikipedia article for the car and is single-source. The article names the 4.5L engine LW2 for 1989–1992 and the Northstar L37 for 1993, and prints three 1992 paint codes; it names the 1987–1988 4.1L engine and the transmissions without an RPO code, so those get no rows.
