GMC Yukon XL — K2XX (2015–2020)

The NICB VIN manuals list the K2XX Yukon XL from 2015 to 2020 as SLE, SLT and Denali in 4x2 and 4x4 form, adding an SLT Standard Edition for 2019 and 2020. GM's 2015 and 2016 Yukon XL/Denali fleet order guides (Wayback Machine captures) show the 5.3L L83 V8 with the MYC 6 speed automatic on the SLE and SLT and the 6.2L L86 V8 on the Denali, which took the M5U 8 speed automatic from vehicles built after 5 October 2014; their trim marks are given in Notes (S standard, A available, A/D dealer-installed), and only where the capture kept the column, since the Wayback copies lost some cells. The 2016 and 2017 years also come from GM Upfitter electrical body-builder RPO lists that GM printed for the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL and Escalade together, so a code from those lists is kept only when a Yukon XL guide prints it, and the 2017 year of a row rests on that shared list alone (a code the Yukon XL lost while the Tahoe kept it could be over-claimed for 2017). A code that the 2015 guide prints and the 2016 guide drops ends at 2015 even where the lists still print it. No factory list was read for 2018–2020: the only later rows are the 2019 L86, the MF6 10 speed automatic and the 3SA, 4S1, 4SA and 5SA trim groups from GM Authority's 2019 Yukon page, which covers both the Yukon and the Yukon XL (2WD TC15906 and 4WD TK15906, built at Arlington, Texas); 2018 and 2020 have no rows, and the 2020 year of the span rests on NICB alone, so a year missing from a row means no source was read for it, not that the code was dropped.
