Chevrolet Caprice — Caprice PPV (police only), Zeta (Holden WM/WN) (2011–2017)
The NICB VIN manuals print the Caprice for 2011 through 2017 as a single Police series (MK for 2011–2013, NS for 2014–2017). Two GM documents for this car are in the repository and cited [FD]: GM's 2014 Fleet Car & Truck Guide, which shows one model, the Caprice Police (9C1, 1EW19 sedan), built at Elizabeth, South Australia, with a standard 3.6L SIDI V6, an optional 6.0L V8 with Active Fuel Management and a 6 speed automatic, and prints codes only for the 9C1 package and the paints; and GM's 2017 Caprice PPV order guide (published June 3, 2016; GM Authority's copy; "the 2017 order guide"), whose one column is Police (9C1) with equipment group 1SB and which gives the 2017 rows, except the V6, the 6 speed automatic, the limited slip differential and the console mounting platform, which it prints only inside 1SB, so 2017 is not claimed for them. The other rows rest on GM's official RPO change lists for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017, read through GM Authority ("GM's 2014 changes" and so on), and a 2016 article that credits GM's order guides only for the absence of changes, so the three codes its own text names are single-source; a code therefore carries only the years one of these names, and most codes have no source for 2015–2016. No GM source was found for 2011–2012: those years rest on Wikipedia, GM Authority's L77 engine page and the code changes GM's 2013 list names.
